Fact 1: Poseidon is the god of the seas, rivers, floods, droughts, earthquakes, and horses. He was considered as a mature man so he was allowed to have the trident. The trident was very powerful.

Fact 2: When Poseidon took his trident and slammed it down on the ground that would cause earthquakes and shipwrecks. Some people who sailed in the ocean or in any waters, they would sit down and pray that Poseidon would not cause earthquakes or shipwrecks for them.

Fact 3: Poseidon was the man to create the minotaur. The minotaur is half man and half bull. He asked Aphrodite, the goddess of love, to make a queen to fall in love with a bull.

Fact 4: Poseidon wasn't the only man who ruled the sea... Old Man of the Sea helped Poseidon. His real name was Nereus. He didn't get along with Poseidon. Poseidon would over rule Nereus even though he was there first and the ruler of the seas first.

Fact 5: He lived on the ocean floor in a palace that was made out of gems and coral. He was very tempermental. When he caused a earthquake he's always in a bad mood. It meant it was a punishment or to get back at someone.

Fact 6: Poseidon has many kids with a lot of different women. He married Amphritrite. They had a son who is half man and half fish. His name is Triton. The Pegasus of Poseidon and Medusa.

Fact 7: Poseidon tried to show Athena his power and so he threw his trident and it hit the Acropolis and that made a rise in salt water. But Athena planted a olive tree so the sea didn't taste so bad.

Fact 8: Poseidon had a shape shifting power. He used it to shape shift into a steed. Nobody knows if he was in the shape of a horse when he had raped Medusa because when she was killed by Perseus, a Pegasus came out of her body.

Fact 9: Poseidon was very powerful. For example he would raise his hand and an island would appear. Everyone who lived by the water was a terrified of Poseidon. The people would bring him gifts to his temple to keep him happy so there would be no trouble. It sometimes worked but other times it did not.

Fact 10: When men were out at sea, they would kill their horses for Poseidon. So they could keep him happy. So he wouldn't cause grief.

I chose the colors light blue and bark blue to represent the waters that Poseidon lives in and rules under.

I chose the music because it is sounding like it would represent Poseidon. Like all the water sounds.
